CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
Check in time is 4:00pm and check out time is 11:00am. In order to honor our check in time, we must honor our check out time. All guests are welcome to use our facilities throughout the day after check out. We will do our best to accommodate early arrivals or late departures with advance day-of notice.
FITNESS CENTER, POOL, AND HOT TUB
Located on the first floor, the Fitness Center and Pool offers aerobic equipment, weights, steam room, and heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool with outdoor hot tub. The Fitness Center is open 24 hours a day (guest key required). Pool hours are 7:00am to 11:00pm. An adult must accompany children under the age of 14 for pool and hot tub use, and minors under the age of 16 are not allowed on the exercise equipment unsupervised. Towels are provided at the Pool. The entire Pool and Fitness Center area is a smoke-free facility.

PET POLICY
The Grand Lodge allows pets in specific first and second floor units for a cost of $30/night, per pet. Pets must be registered at the Front Desk with details on breed, name, and the phone number of the guest/owner. Pets must be on a leash at all times on resort property. You may ask the Front Desk for pet waste bags to clean up after your pet outdoors.
Please place a Pet In-Room sign on your door if you leave your pet in the room while you are away. Housekeeping and maintenance will not provide services to rooms with pets inside. If you leave your pet in a room unattended and the pet is barking uncontrollably or causing a nuisance to other guests, you may be charged an additional fee, and/or asked to evict the property with your pet. See the “pet boarding and grooming” section below if you wish to use these services.
CLIMATE CONTROL
Consistent with most Colorado mountain resorts, The Grand Lodge does not offer air-conditioning in guest rooms. Each room at The Grand Lodge is equipped with a ceiling fan, box fan, and at least one opening window to assist with climate control. Keep the black-out drapes closed during the day to keep the sun out when you’re not in the room. Open the window to let the cool mountain air in. Use the box fan (located in the closet) and the ceiling fan to help circulate the air in the room. Humidifiers are available for use in your unit’s closet, and can be requested from the Front Desk.
ICE AND VENDING MACHINES
Ice machines are located in the West and East Wings on the 2 nd , 3 rd , 4 th , and 5 th floors. On the East Wing, we have soda machines located 2 nd , 3 rd , 4 th and 5th floors. On the West Wing we have a soda machine located in the laundry room on the 2 nd floor and next to the West tower lobby elevators.
WATER FILLING STATIONS
We have two water filling stations located in the West Wing Lobby by the elevators and in the East Wing it is located by steam room.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES
Laundry facilities are available on the 2nd floor of the West Wing and on the 5 th floor of the East Wing. Machine are operated via the CSC Go software by scanning the QR code and paying with your card or Google/Apple/Android Pay. You may purchase detergent from across the street from The Store. If you bring your own detergent, do NOT use any sort of Pods.

Rooms will NOT be serviced daily, however if you need fresh towels, coffee or trash removed please contact the Front Desk.
MAINTENANCE
We are pleased to respond to any of your maintenance requests when it is convenient for you. Please contact the Front Desk for assistance by dialing 0 on your room phone or stopping by the Front Desk.
CRIB AND ROLLAWAY BED RENTALS
Limited availability. Cribs are complimentary, and roll-away beds are available for $25.00 per night. To request a crib or roll-away bed, Contact the Front Desk.
ROOM KEYS
Room keys are issued upon check in and give you access to the fitness area, pool, and your room. If you need more keys for your room, please go to the Front Desk. Note that they can easily be demagnetized.
MAIL AND SHIPPING SERVICES
Incoming and outgoing mail is received through the Front Desk. Incoming mail will be held for your arrival and may be picked up at the Front Desk. Please drop any outgoing mail into the USPS mailbox located in front of the Lodge at Mountaineer Square hotel.
SKI/SNOWBOARD AND BIKE STORAGE
Storing of skis, snowboards, and bikes is not permitted in guest rooms. Please leave these items in your vehicle or with our complimentary ski/snowboard and bike valet.
LOST & FOUND
Please call the Front Desk to inquire about or report lost & found items. The hotel is not responsible for items left unattended. Crested Butte Mountain Resort Lost & Found is located at the Guest Services Kiosk in the base area or by calling 970-349-2211.
SMOKING
Smoking of any kind is prohibited in all guest rooms. Smoking in a guest room will result in a $250.00 cleaning fee. There are designated smoking areas where the “smoker’s poles” are located. Please ask the Front Desk if you need assistance locating these areas.
SECURITY
Call 911 in case of emergency. To report any disturbances or problems, please call the Front Desk by dialing 0 at any time. Resort Security can also be reached directly at 970-901-1991 between the hours of 4:00pm and 2:00am.
EMERGENCY EXIT PLAN IN CASE OF FIRE
Call 911. Please note location of nearest fire exits. Use stairs in case of fire. Do not use elevators. If the fire is inside your room and you cannot safely extinguish it, please evacuate the area. Close the door and activate fire alarm in the corridor. If the fire is outside your room feel the door. If door is hot do not open the door. Seal the bottom of door with a damp towel to keep out smoke. Wait for further assistance or instruction. If door is not hot look through peephole and open door cautiously. Follow emergency exit plan to nearest safe stairway. Stay low if smoke is present.
ALTITUDE AWARENESS
To ensure guest comfort, we remind you that Crested Butte Mountain Resort is 9,300 feet above sea level. If you live at lower elevations, take it easy at first. Drink plenty of water! Staying hydrated and limiting the consumption of alcohol while visiting our resort will minimize the effects of altitude sickness. Also, please be aware that exercise may cause shortness of breath. At this altitude, exposure to the sun is more intense. Please use sunscreen accordingly. Sun protection is especially important for young children and infants.

American Express, MasterCard, VISA, and Discover are all accepted throughout Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Upon check-in, we place a pre-authorization hold to cards for incidentals and charge Resort Fees when applicable.
LIFT ACCESS
Please visit www.skicb.com or visit our Rental and Demo Center located in the base area to purchase lift tickets or Adventure Park activities. Over the summer the Red Lady lift offers access to The Evolution Bike Park, hiking (including the hike to the Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks), archery course, Frisbee golf 18-hole short course, and an 18-hole Frisbee golf long course. The Silver Queen lift offers pedestrian access for many hiking opportunities that include the hike to the summit of Mount Crested Butte.
ADVENTURE PARK ACTIVITIES
Visit the Adventure Park for limitless fun! Bungie jump trampolines, climbing on our rock wall, and panning for gemstones and precious minerals in our historic mining luge are all available right in the heart of the base area.

Winter weather conditions are most prevalent from mid-October to late-April. However, snow conditions have been known to occur as early as September and as late as June.
